My research focuses on the development of a new generation of hybrid nanoparticles (nanoliposomes and nanoliposome–exosome systems) and emulsions derived from natural sources (marine or plant-based) for encapsulation of biomolecules, as well as their characterization for various applications in the nutraceutical, food, and cosmetic sectors, with particular emphasis on the prevention of brain aging and cancer.

Since my recruitment in September 2007, I have coordinated and/or participated in more than 20 international, national, and industrial research projects. These include two NFFA (European), AHA (USA), Australian Research Council (ARC), two PHC projects, Endeavour Research Fellowship applications, Eiffel Excellence Scholarships, a Russian Ministry of Education and Research scholarship, Fondation Alzheimer, ANR, FUI, LUE programs (International, Interdisciplinary, Mirabelle+, Impact Biomolecules, PEPS), CARNOT ICEEL, as well as several industrial collaborations (OLEON, Cargill, OLVEA, EVORA, etc.).
